HISTORY AT IT´S BEST

When on January, 15th 1990 ten thousands of outraged citizens stormed the GDR Headquarters, they could hardly believe what they saw: smoked eel and shrimps on the canteen menu, cans filled with shark-fin soup piled up in the food depots, wood-paneled conference rooms - unimaginable luxury by East German standards!

People´s rage exploded.

Consequently, smashed windows and glass doors, crude slogans and gallows drawn on the walls were left behind, some of them still visible today. This day marked the end of the East German secret service and GDR dictatorship and made this building famous throughout the world.

Today we can offer this world-famous former GDR Ministry for State Security as a fresh and outstanding location suited for being a perfect Event Space because of its location, its perfect dimensions and its variability.

The building offers wide dimensions for separate events on several floors and has the capacity for approximately 5,000 people. The Hall of Mirrors on the 1^st floor, the Multi-Function-Hall as well as a Cinema & Conference Hall on the 3^rd floor represent three profound pillars of this property. And the rooftop allows an amazing view at the skyline of Berlin's city.

Each floor offers about 4,000 m² which can be divided as required or booked completely. The location is located very central, easy to reach from Berlin's hotspots as well as from the airports.
